Terms of Service
Last updated: July 5, 2026
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the Sahaala website and, together with your signed service agreement, the Sahaala e-invoicing platform. Sahaala Tax Technology Solutions LLC ("Sahaala") is a product of Muscat Auditing and Accounting Services and operates as its own business entity in the Sultanate of Oman. If a signed agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement prevails.
2. The service
Sahaala provides e-invoicing services for Oman's Fawtara program: invoice validation against PINT-OM, exchange over the Peppol network through certified infrastructure, reporting to the Oman Tax Authority (OTA), dashboards and compliant archiving. Service levels, fees and support commitments are defined in your service agreement.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate company, VAT and invoice data, and keep your registrations current.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials and API keys.
- Use the service only for lawful purposes and in line with OTA and Peppol rules.
- Ensure you have the right to submit any data you pass through the platform.
4. Regulatory status
Accreditation under the OTA's Fawtara framework is granted and timed by the regulator. Statements on this site about certifications and accreditation describe current status and our accreditation track; they are not a guarantee of future regulatory outcomes or timelines, which remain subject to change by the OTA.
5. Intellectual property
The Sahaala brand, website content and platform are protected by intellectual-property rights of Sahaala and its licensors. You retain all rights in your own data, brand and client relationships.
6. Data protection
Personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy and the Oman Personal Data Protection Law. Invoice data is processed solely to provide the service and to meet Peppol and OTA obligations.
7. Liability
The website is provided "as is" for information purposes. To the extent permitted by law, Sahaala is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website. Platform liability, warranties and service credits are governed by your service agreement.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts or agreed arbitration in Muscat.
